A unique, character duplex apartment situated on the entrance of Sandbanks peninsula. The parade was built by the Rumsey family in the 1920's and the apartment is above our office which has proudly housed Rumsey's flagship site since the property was built.
Hemingways is arranged over two floors and has been renovated and redecorated by the current owners and the interior is a fresh and chic space. With harbour and sea views from every window, the apartment is truly one of its kind. Accommodating up to four guests in two bedrooms which have been furnished with bespoke and antique furniture which adds to the charm of the interior. One of the bedrooms has a juliet balcony and an ensuite shower room and there is a separate bathroom with a lovely roll top bath. The lower floor is semi open plan with a curved glass wall separating the kitchen area. The lounge boasts a lovely wood burner, wall-mounted TV and a picture window overlooking the Poole harbour. The dining area seats four and there is also a window seat which is a great place to sit and watch the world go by.
Outside, there is a small balcony with a bistro set, which looks out over the harbour with panoramic views over Brownsea Island.
N.B Rumsey note: Hemingways is a fantastic location and has stunning views. It is located over a bustling, commercial parade with access for deliveries and refuse, we just wanted to point this out. Permit parking is for one car in the main Sandbanks car park or along Banks Road.
