Waders is a stone’s throw away from Salterns Marina and Lilliput’s shops and restaurants (which include Koh Noi Thai Tapas, Rocket and Rascals cycle shop and café, Mark Bennett Patisserie, TJ’s Fish and Chips, Tesco Express, and Co-op Food). Sandbanks Peninsula is just a five-minute cycle, with its Blue Flag beach of soft, golden sand stretching all the way to Bournemouth, further restaurants (including Rick Stein), and water-sports tuition and hire. Bournemouth is 5 miles away, and Poole just 2.5 miles. The local bus stop serves Bournemouth, Poole, Sandbanks and Swanage (via the Sandbanks Ferry). The nearest airport is Bournemouth Airport, 9 miles away.
